I can’t open the Time Machine
Section titled “I can’t open the Time Machine”- Is The Time Machine card on your home page? If not, you have no Time Machine access. An Admin gives it on the Members page: a Time Machine level of Read/Write or above. How
- Is the card showing “Syncing…”? A new subscription syncs with ConnectWise for about 24 hours first. The card shows when it expects to finish.
I only see my own chip
Section titled “I only see my own chip”Your company has turned on Restrict Chips and Strips on Time Machine or Restrict Viewing Availability of Others, which limit members who are not Managers or Admins to their own. About
The chips show fewer members than I expect
Section titled “The chips show fewer members than I expect”- Is a team selected? Open MENU, Set Team, and untick it. How
- Do you have favourites? With no team, only your favourites are shown. Remove the favourites, or choose All Members.
- Is the member hidden? A member whose Availability board setting is off is not listed.
A chip is all red, or all slate
Section titled “A chip is all red, or all slate”- Red inner ring: the member had no ticket In Progress and no unavailable status. Ask them to put tickets In Progress as they work them, and to mark Lunch, AFK or PTO.
- Slate outer ring: no time recorded yet. Time In Progress counts until the ticket comes out of In Progress; then a time entry is expected.
- An eight-hour day that should not be: the member has no working calendar in ConnectWise, so eight hours are assumed.
Time is shown as non-technical
Section titled “Time is shown as non-technical”The time entry’s work type is not flagged Technical. Change it under Nilear’s Settings, Work Types.
Unavailable time looks shorter than it was
Section titled “Unavailable time looks shorter than it was”Under the default In Progress calc rule, a chip leaves out an allowance for planned breaks: one sixteenth of the working day, at most 30 minutes. Point at the part to see the full time, or look at the strips, which draw it in full. About
The board shows “Off-Hours” in the middle of the day
Section titled “The board shows “Off-Hours” in the middle of the day”The member’s working calendar in ConnectWise puts that time outside their working hours.
