Data and security

Nilear Live sends messages only to the Teams chats of members who linked their own account, and only what each of them chose to receive:

Message Contains
Ticket update The ticket’s number, summary, company, contact, board and status; the notes that were added, with their authors and hours, internal notes included and marked INTERNAL; and links to the ticket in ConnectWise and MTX.
Schedule update The schedule entry: its ticket, its time, and who scheduled or changed it.
Lunch and AFK update A colleague’s name, the status and the time they are due back.
Peer review The review’s text and rating as published under Peer Review’s rules, and its likes.

Messages are delivered through Microsoft’s service for Teams apps, to your organization’s Teams. Once delivered, they are kept in Teams like any other chat message, under your organization’s Teams retention.

To decide what to send, Nilear Live uses the ticket changes, schedule entries and availability Nilear already follows for your company in ConnectWise and MTX. It reads with your company’s ConnectWise integration and never changes anything in ConnectWise.

For each linked member Nilear keeps the link to their Teams chat and their Nilear Live settings. Unlinking removes the link; your settings are kept for when you link again.

  • Only members with Nilear Live access can link, and only to their own Nilear account.
  • Ticket updates go only to members who chose that board, kind of update and company. A member whose ConnectWise access to service tickets is limited to their own receives updates only for tickets assigned to them.
  • Your link command is unique to you: anyone who sends it links their Teams chat to your account. Don’t share it.
