Access levels
External AI has a level of its own for each member, set on the Members page in the External AI column (how). It caps what that member’s AI client may do; the client still can do only what the member may do.
On the AI Clients page
Section titled “On the AI Clients page”| Action | Needs |
|---|---|
| Open AI Clients | Any level but No Access NilearX-wide |
| See your MCP URL and How to connect | External AI on, and your External AI level Read Only or above |
| See and revoke your own connections | Open the page |
| Switch External AI on or off | Admin |
| See and revoke every member’s connections | Admin |
| Set members’ External AI levels (Members page) | Admin |
Connecting and calling tools
Section titled “Connecting and calling tools”| Action | Needs |
|---|---|
| Approve a client on the Connect an AI client page | External AI on; an active member of the PSA; External AI Read Only or above |
| Who am I | External AI Read Only or above |
| Get ticket, Get ticket attachment, Find similar tickets, Suggest next steps | Read Only or above, and MTX on for you; then the ticket checks |
| Get availabilities, Get availability | Read Only or above, and MTX on for you |
| Set availability | Read/Write or above, and MTX on for you; MTX decides whose availability you may change |
Suggest next steps needs only Read Only: it writes nothing to the ticket, only to its Support Advisor tab, where a technician decides what to use.
