Build a map by hand

The Criteria card in the map editor shows a map’s conditions. You can build a map there without a sentence, or correct what a sentence produced.

  1. Under Companies matching, choose how the conditions combine: all of, any of or none of these.
  2. Choose a condition from + Add a condition…: Company type, Company status, Territory, Market, Marketing group, Site location, Distance from a postal code, Agreement, Contacts, Company custom field or Group of conditions.
  3. Fill it in. For a list such as Company type is one of, select one or more values (hold Ctrl or Cmd to select several).
  4. Remove a condition with its ×.

The counts in What Client Mapper understood follow every change. Every condition is described in Conditions.

A Group of conditions has its own all of, any of or none of. Use it to say, for example, “Clients, but none of those in the Do Not Visit group”:

  • Companies matching all of: Company type is one of Client; a group of none of: Marketing group is one of Do Not Visit.

An empty all of or none of group matches every company; an empty any of group matches nothing.

Tick Show only each company’s primary site to put one pin per company on the map, instead of every active site.

A condition naming a value that is no longer in your ConnectWise, such as a deleted company type, is shown in red: it matches nothing until the map is changed. Remove or correct it.
