These steps create a ScoreBook for one team and its first monthly ScoreCard. Creating and editing ScoreBooks needs the Manager or Admin access level in Nilear. Sign in at app.nilear.com and open Score My Team from the home page.

1. Add a ScoreBook. Click the + on the Add ScoreBook card. A short wizard opens.

   

2. Name it. Enter a ScoreBook Name, usually the team’s name, such as Help Desk, and click Next.

3. Choose the scoring method. Click By Rankings to rank members against each other, recommended for a team with similar work such as a help desk. Click By Individual Metrics to score each member on their own 0-100 scale against goals, recommended when members’ work differs. See ScoreBooks and ScoreCards.

4. Select the members. Under Available Members, click each member to add them to Selected Members. Click a selected member to remove them. Click Next.

5. Set up the monthly ScoreCard. The first ScoreCard already holds the Real-time Ticketing and Ticket Timesheets modules. Give each module a Scoring Weight, add any other module under Add Additional Scoring Modules, and, for By Individual Metrics, set Rocks. See Set up a ScoreCard. Click Next.

6. Finish. The wizard says Congratulations, your ScoreBook has been configured. and the date the ScoreCard becomes active. Nilear starts filling the ScoreBook with scores from that date.

Tell your team how they are scored

Scores change behavior only when people know what earns points. Share Real-time Ticketing and Timesheet scoring with the members you score, and have them link Nilear Live so they can review their peers from Microsoft Teams.
