What it reads from ConnectWise
Section titled “What it reads from ConnectWise”| For | Read |
|---|---|
| ScheduleSync | Time entries on tickets (member, ticket, start, end, hours, work type), the member’s schedule entries for that ticket, and the ticket’s summary and status. |
| TravelSync | The technician’s schedule entries for the day, their schedule locations and types, the ticket’s site or the company’s address, and the technician’s default locations. |
It reads with your company’s ConnectWise integration in Nilear.
What it writes to ConnectWise
Section titled “What it writes to ConnectWise”ScheduleSync and TravelSync write schedule entries only:
- ScheduleSync moves a schedule entry to the time entered, splits one in two, or adds one for time worked without one.
- TravelSync adds, moves and deletes Travel To and Travel From entries, described with the companies, where the technician set out from, the drive time and the distance.
- When your ConnectWise has no travel schedule types, Nilear adds Travel To and Travel From types.
They never change a ticket, a time entry, a company or a member.
What is sent to Google Maps
Section titled “What is sent to Google Maps”To work out a drive, TravelSync sends Google Maps the two addresses: a client site’s or company’s address, your office address, or a technician’s home address. It sends no ticket, no name and no schedule. A drive between the same two addresses is kept for up to a year so it is not looked up again.
Home addresses
Section titled “Home addresses”A technician’s home address is used only to predict whether they set out from home. A travel entry says From Home or To Home; it never contains the home address. Who can see and change a home address in Nilear is described with your member settings: a member and your company’s Admins.
Who can change it
Section titled “Who can change it”- The company-wide switches: Nilear administrators only.
- The per-member switches: Admins, on the Members page.
- A member with No Access in Nilear is never synced.
