ScheduleSync

ScheduleSync keeps your ConnectWise Dispatch Portal true to what really happened. Your Dispatch Portal is a plan: through the day, work finishes earlier or later than it was scheduled, and the plan drifts further from the truth. ScheduleSync moves each ticket’s schedule entry to the time the technician actually entered against the ticket, and adds a schedule entry when someone works a ticket that had none. The Dispatch Portal then shows what is expected to happen, what is happening and what has happened.

TravelSync, part of ScheduleSync, adds Travel To and Travel From entries around each on-site appointment, so everyone can see when a technician is on the road. Each travel entry says where the technician is coming from (the office, home or the previous client), how long the drive takes and how far it is.

Who it is for

  • Dispatchers and service managers, who plan the day from the Dispatch Portal and need to see where technicians really are.
  • Technicians, who need do nothing new: they enter time as usual, and their schedule follows.
  • Owners, who want schedules that can be reported on afterwards.

How it works, in short

  1. An administrator turns ScheduleSync and TravelSync on for the company in Nilear, at app.nilear.com, under Settings, ScheduleSync. Each has its own switch.
  2. Each member’s Schedule Sync and Travel Sync switch, on the Members page at my.nilear.com, decides whether it works on that member’s schedule.
  3. When a technician enters time on a ticket, ScheduleSync finds their schedule entry for that ticket that day and moves it to the time entered, or adds one.
  4. When an on-site appointment is scheduled, moved or removed, TravelSync plans that technician’s travel for the day and writes the travel entries.

What it needs

  • A ConnectWise PSA, on a NilearOS subscription. ScheduleSync is not part of the ConnectActive-only plan.
  • An administrator to turn it on.
  • For TravelSync: a ConnectWise schedule location marked as on-site, Travel To and Travel From schedule types, client addresses that can be found on a map, and an office or home address for each technician.
