What each person sees

Client Mapper shows each person only the companies, contacts and agreements their own ConnectWise access lets them see, as ConnectWise would. A shared map keeps the same criteria for everyone, and each person sees its counts and sites as their own access allows.

Nilear reads each member’s ConnectWise security role and works out:

  • which companies they see: every company, or those in the territories under their security location plus companies with no territory, or none;
  • contacts: whether they may see contacts at all;
  • agreements: whether they may see agreements at all.

A change to someone’s ConnectWise security role or location reaches Client Mapper within about an hour.

Everything: map counts, pins and site lists, distance candidates, refine previews, the lists of sites that could not be located, which sites are located when a map opens, and the on-site layers. A ticket or visit of a company you may not see is neither shown nor counted.

If you may not see contacts, the Contacts condition is not offered to you; if you may not see agreements, the Agreement condition is not. A shared map that uses one of them still works for colleagues who may; for you that condition matches nothing and says Not available to you. The same goes for a distance measured from a site of a company you may not see.

If your access shows you no clients, the maps list and every map say Your PSA access shows you no clients, with the reason, such as:

  • Your PSA access has not been read yet.
  • You are not an active member of the PSA.
  • Your PSA access shows you no companies.
  • Nilear cannot read your ConnectWise’s security settings.

Ask your administrator to check your ConnectWise security role. See Troubleshooting.
